Intergenerational Program
New Horizons has provided Harmony Hall with a grant for intergenerational programs. Since last February we have been partnering with George Webster Elementary School and Crescent Town Public School.
The programs included reading buddies, Bengali singing lessons, jewellery making, Tai Chi, Classical Indian Dance, Mandarin Classes and a trip to Famous People Players. This autumn we are planning a trip to a bowling ally, mural painting, jewellery classes, reading buddies and more.
The majority of
these programs are FREE
of charge to HH members and students.
We will be looking for HH members to be a part of the programs as
either a participant or an instructor (we will teach members to
instruct).
